According to the qualification of the Hungarian Institute for Health Service the water of the well is an alkaline-hydrogen carbonate and chloride thermal water containing many resolved salt. As it contains a large amount of iodine ion, it can be classified as an iodic mineral water. The fluor and silica content of the water is also considerable. The chemical composition of the healing water makes it able to use for bathing and drinking cures, and in atomized form for inhalation cures in case of the following illnesses:

• Curing locomotor disease – bathing
• Curing chronic disease of the respiratory organs – inhalation
• Curing gastric and intestine diseases
